According to vx-underground, a website specializing in collecting malware samples, the hacker group LAPSUS$ that attacked Nvidia has attacked Samsung again, and released some source code information stolen from Samsung servers.

The hacker group reportedly made no mention of a ransom payment for now, nor did it indicate any type of communication with Samsung. The hacker group obtained source code for trusted applets installed in Samsung TrustZone environments, algorithms for biometric unlocking operations, bootloader source code for the latest Samsung devices, Qualcomm’s confidential source code, and more.

The hacker group LAPSUS$ claimed to have obtained 1TB of Nvidia data, including driver, schematic or firmware information. According to the source, hackers have leaked DLSS 2.2 code information, including the C++ files that make up DLSS, header and asset information, and a “programming guide” document to help developers understand the code and build it correctly.

Today, the hacker group LAPSUS$ put forward a request: Nvidia must fully open source the GPU drivers of Windows, macOS, and Linux systems before the end of March 4th, US time, or make the confidential data public.
