Motorola Edge X30 with the under-screen camera was shown in official images

At the beginning of the year, the Motorola brand hinted at the release of a special version of the flagship Edge X30 with an invisible front. Recently, a similar device has been certified by TENAA – the regulator has already published the first photos of the future novelty, and also declassified its key technical characteristics without waiting for the presentation event.

The smartphone with code number XT2201-6 is expected to be introduced to the market as Motorola Edge X30 Under Screen Edition. Judging by the picture, the device does not have a cutout in the display for the selfie module, which indicates its equipment with an under-screen sensor. According to TENAA, the gadget is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The agency also reports that the smartphone is based on an eight-core processor with a clock speed of 2.99 GHz (presumably Snapdragon 8 Gen 1). The novelty will be available in configurations with 8/12 GB/16 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB storage. The agency does not specify the characteristics of the cameras – they will probably be the same as those of the original version of the smartphone.

The capacity of the Motorola XT2201-6 battery with support for 68-watt fast charging will be 4700 mAh, the body dimensions are 163 x 75.9 x 8.4 mm, and the weight is 204 grams. The date of presentation and price of the flagship model with an under-screen camera are still unknown.
