As announced earlier, OPPO has officially launched the OPPO K3 smartphone at an event held today in China. From the rear, the design of the K3 looks similar to the recently launched OPPO Reno series.
The device comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and DC dimming feature. Since the display has no notch or bezels. the OPPO K3 also comes powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU.
The OPPO K3 runs on the latest ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and includes proprietary software features like Game Boost 2.0, Frame Boost, Touch Boost, and Link Boost. It comes with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB of UFS2.1 flash storage.
On the rear, the OPPO K3 came with a 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor and a 2MP GalaxCore GC2375 sensor. The pop-up camera on the top features a 16MP sensor and it can extend in just 0.74 seconds. For selfies, the device sports a 16MP Sony IMX471 pop-up camera on the top.
The OPPO K3 will be backed by a 3,765mAh non-removable battery and supports VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology that offers 5V/4A (20W) power output. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front.
The pricing, the base variant of the K3 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1599. The 8GB RAM variant with 128GB and 256GB storage options comes with a price tag of CNY 1899 and CNY 2299 respectively.
