In addition, last year’s flagship Galaxy S9 gets an update with camera improvements. We haven’t been able to verify it yet, but they say that new functions have appeared there, such as night mode and QR code scanner. The Galaxy S9 model with a Snapdragon 845 processor gets the software with the build number G9600ZHU5CSFC. The update currently rolling in Brazil.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy J4 Plus, in turn, are simply updated to the July security patch. No new features are there, and this is not surprising, given the fact that both smartphones have received Android 9.0 Pie recently. The update for the Galaxy A7 (2018) is currently available only in Colombia, while the update for the Galaxy J4+ is out in Vietnam and Thailand.
If you are still waiting, you can download the newest update build by going into Settings > Software updates and tapping on “Download updates manually”.
