According to HongKong based Counterpoint Research’s Market Monitor Q2 2018 report, OnePlus was one of the fastest growing brands in the $400-600 price segment as the global premium smartphone segment grew faster (+7 percent) than the overall smartphone segment (-1 percent) in the second quarter of 2018.
The premium segment, which consists of devices above $400, accounts for one-fifth of the global smartphone market.

Another piece of information has now surfaced online, giving us a clearer idea of the soon-to-be-announced smartphone’s hardware specifications.
According to BGR, The folks at Android Guides have managed to grab a picture highlighting the key specs of the V40 ThinQ, and they look great. If the picture is to be believed, LG V40 ThinQ will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. If this is indeed the case, the V40 ThinQ will be the first LG smartphone to have this much RAM. As far as other specs go, we’re talking about a 6.4-inch QuadHD+ (most likely P-OLED, and with a notch) display wielding a resolution of 1440×3120 pixels, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
